Enhancing smallholder sugar bean production in Zimbabwe

Abstract: In Manicaland province, 547 farmers in Mutasa and Makoni districts transformed their lives by producing sugar bean seeds, in partnership with a local agribusiness firm - Zimbabwe Super Seeds. The project is being funded by UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) and managed by Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations as part of the Livelihoods and Food Security Programme (LFSP).
