[Link in description] Looking for a great piccolo trumpet for everything from quintet playing through Brandenberg? The Yamaha 9820 is a great horn in the 3+1 valve configuration. Typically a 3 valve piccolo trumpet has limited utility because you can't play the low F (concert D) needed in much of the standard repertoire. This design has the note thanks to the rotary extension on the third valve slide, and this particular trumpet has great crispness on that note. The horn overall has beautiful articulations.

The three valve setup can be more intuitive for a lot of players, so this would be a great horn for the improvisor or if you're looking for a picc for playing Canadian Brass arrangements with your quintet.
