Here is how you can replace an ignition switch on a 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo. If you are having a hard time starting your vehicle or one or more of your accessories have stopped working the ignition switch could be the problem. The procedure should be very similar for other GM made vehicles from 2000-2005 like Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Chevy Impalas, Malibu... etc.
