The innovative Platypus Craft is
The innovative Platypus Craft is allowing anyone to navigate easily above and under the surface.
The concept is providing in one craft a boat and a semi submersible, with electric or gas engines.
The prototype visible in the video has reached 11 knots with electric engines (2 Torqeedo 4Kw) and is limited to 4 knots underwater.
Navigators breath thanks to a hookah system, and you can watch from below what happen above the surface thanks to a digital persiscop : 2 cameras and a waterproof screen provided by prismatec.
The propellers are protected with a cage in order to avoid any issue.
Pre orders are opened now, price range is 42 000 to 55 000 EUR excl. VAT. depending engines and equipment.
