There are 3 theories of organisational behaviour that are thought to have evolved with time. The theory X is considered the theory of 20th century while theory Y is one which evolved with improving perception of employee as a Human Resource with more importance to human part than the resource. And theory Z is considered as a futuristic theory with relatively utopian ideals.

In this video, we look at the basic introduction part of all 3 and then we delve into the difference between them using an acronym so that it is easy to understand and remember.
