I've used a 6" flexible duct, foil tape, 10x6 wall/ceiling register, metal screws, duct register, starting collar, hanger strap, and nylon adjustable ties. For tools I've used a cordless drill, tape measure, sheet rock saw, stud finder, and manual cut-off tensioning tool. Hope it helps.
