Bought Two Japanese Playstation Portables (psp 2019), Do they work? : We Test | We Deem

The PlayStation Portable was a really good portable handheld gaming system and got countless hours of play from me. For the longest, I have wanted to pick one up again after my last one broke and I finally purchase not one but two.

I bought a psp in 2019, well two of them from Japan and they were listed as parts or repair. Not sure what I got myself into with this Sony PSP purchase but I'm hoping I get the playstation portable startup when I hit the power button and won't need much to repair.  Will the psp turn on, will the screen work, and will the umd play psp games. Hopefully, this PSP eBay purchase will turn out to be a deal instead of a complete waste of money and I can bring both these Japanese PSPs a new life here in the States.
