I had had a prior implant, and the tooth next to it actually got infected. Actually had nothing to do with the implant um but that's how I ended up meeting Dr. Aalam because the tooth had to be pulled, and if I remember correctly, we had to do a bone graft and afterward put in a new post. And that was the first time I had met Dr. Aalam.
The main benefit was, first of all, the bone graft took, and the post went in, and I still have that tooth, and it's so much more comfortable having a tooth that's solid, and I'm not in pain, and I feel perfect as if it's natural.
Well, the winning formula is always somewhat easy for me. That is to say, I've met people in medicine who are experts whose expertise is outstanding, but there's no real human connection. Or I've seen other people who are excellent, but they don't really listen to you. And what impressed me is Dr. Aalam is that combination of people of a person who listens, takes your concerns seriously, interacts well, nice guy, and has the technical expertise.
Quality of life clearly is that I'm more comfortable eating. I don't have pain from the prior tooth or a hole there, so in that sense, quality of life is much better. Um, certainly, my oral health is much better than it was when I walked in. Self-esteem there was nothing upfront, so I can't say, well, you know I was embarrassed to smile or anything, but the reality is I feel better, and that has to help self-esteem.
I mean, I keep coming back because the service is great. I even come here for teeth cleanings twice a year just so you can keep an eye on my overall health and the condition of my gums.
