What are BTE Hearing Aids?

BTE hearing aids are behind the ear hearing aids. The receiver, microphone and amplifier sit in the casing behind the ear, send the processed, amplified sound down the tube and in to the middle and inner ear to reach the brain. Many people with hearing loss benefit from hearing aids and BTE aids are a higher power version of hearing aids for those with moderate, severe and even profound hearing losses.
