Hey all, today's call is with a nice little "free US federal grant" scammer. I cold called this scumbag and got him to take me down
the rabbit hole. He was pretty restless and got right to the point, so I just rolled with it.

The scam: These scumbags will call and tell you that you've been selected to receive a free federal grant from the United States. The amount varies, but is usually around 8-12 thousand dollars. The only catch is that you need to wire them a small "registration" or "verification" fee in order to receive your boatload of cash (sounds legit!). Absolute scam. If you ever receive a cold call about free money or from a number you don't know, look up the number, because it is ALWAYS a scam.
This guy's particular number went down after I bombarded him all day unfortunately. I shall find him again! Try this number in the meantime, it's another federal grant scammer: 347-759-6298
