Why Gujarat has turned against migrants from UP, Bihar ?

For the past one week, there have been reports of attacks on migrants from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Hundreds of migrant workers employed in many districts of Gujarat have fled. It all began on September 28, when a 14-month-old girl in the Sabarkantha district of Gujarat was allegedly raped by a man hailing from Bihar.
