A comprehensive (but not definitive)
A comprehensive (but not definitive) collection of opening and closing logos from Roadshow Home Video and Village Roadshow Australia, mainly sourced from rental VHS cassettes. Also contains some promotional reels that featured on some of their home videos, both rental and sell-thru.
There are a few Village Roadshow Television logos towards the end of this video. Note that they also did television variants for the early Roadshow Home Video logos as well, but I unfortunately do not own any of them.
I realise this video is a bit repetitive. But I wanted to show you every single variation of the logos that I had available in my collection.

* Roadshow Home Video - Opening Logo [late 1982 - yellow writing, no voice over. Taken from Gallipoli]
* Roadshow Home Video - Opening Logo [1983 to 1985 - yellow, writing, with voice over]
* Village Roadshow Home Video - Opening Logo [1986 to early 1990s - with preview advice]
* Village Roadshow Home Video - Closing Logo [1986 to early 1990s]
* Village Roadshow Home Video Promo [circa 1987 - with Joe Cocker music]

Note: the television logos appeared prior to movies screened on the Nine Network in Australia. This is because Village Roadshow had an exclusive commercial arrangement with that network at the time for first run screenings of their movies.
