So, here we are, guys!
So, here we are, guys! Long time awaited and finally on Andy's workbench, ready for the ultimate test and rev... experience sharing!
The 4S-8S JK-BMS, the Jack of all trades, the Master of balancing, the King of all BMSes
( I actually like this headline above!)
Here is everything you need to know and ever wanted to know about the 4S version of this BMS we all love so much. Gone are the days where we had to add fiddly DC-boosters to the BMS to fake its supply voltage. This new 4S Edition can live just of the battery power itself. Like a real man! Just as BMS so to speak.
I did all the testing with this BMS in this video: over and under-voltage, over-current, over and under-temperature. EVERYTHING!!! Hence we have now reached an unseen length of footage, packed in one long amazing video. And I listened to you and packed this all in one loooong stream instead of making a 13 series season out of it. So sit back and enjoy. Wait! Get a cold SPAT 🍺 and some chips before that... it will be a long night!
Don't be sad that the BMS smoked a bit. In the very next video we will analyse again what has actually happend and I think the damage is not as bad as it looks like in this video here. So stay tuned for this upcoming video here on the channel.
