Jim Ryan and Sony are back at it again looking like complete hypocrites when it comes to Microsoft's plans to Purchase Activision Blizzard this time complaining about exclusivity deals. Yes Sony is complaining about...exclusivity. This is beyond pathetic and Jim Ryan's response to Phil Spencer is exactly just that.

"I hadn’t intended to comment on what I understood to be a private business discussion, but I feel the need to set the record straight because Phil Spencer brought this into the public forum," Ryan stated.

"Microsoft has only offered for Call of Duty to remain on PlayStation for three years after the current agreement between Activision and Sony ends. After almost 20 years of Call of Duty on PlayStation, their proposal was inadequate on many levels and failed to take account of the impact on our gamers. We want to guarantee PlayStation gamers continue to have the highest quality Call of Duty experience, and Microsoft’s proposal undermines this principle."

Sony and PlayStation are running scared when it comes to the idea of Microsoft acquiring Activision Blizzard and putting the annual Call of Duty Titles on Xbox Gamepass. Ever since Microsoft announced that Activision Blizzard would be joining Xbox Game Studios and their entire catalog of games would be joining Xbox Game Pass, PS5 fanboys have been in full damage control desperately trying to cope over the fact that this acquisition is very likely to go through. Well it seems like for the first time in a long time PlayStation and Sony themselves are in agreeance with the PlayStation fanboys and are feeling just as stressed about this announcement leading to Sony attempting to block the acquisition at any cost. Goin as far as to say "Call of Duty is an Essential Game and has no rival" and fears a situation where the game is no longer on PlayStation even though Microsoft has clarified they intend to keep the game on all platforms. It was also discovered that Sony has been paying off developers to prevent them from releasing a game in Xbox Game pass so that it does not provide a good value is a desperate attempt to retain players. It is very ironic that that a company that prides itself on exclusivity, especially when it comes to call of duty, now has a problem when the shoe is on the other foot.
