Perfect for Sniper, Rifleman and Laser Weapon builds; the Old Faithful can be turned into a powerful Laser Sniper Rifle in Fallout 4. In this Fallout 4 guide I show you where to obtain the Old Faithful unique & rare weapon and how you can turn it from a fairly weak pistol into one of the best Laser Sniper Rifles that you can obtain early on. This is garaunteed as well, unlike relying on a specific legendary drop like getting a "Double Laser Sniper Rifle".
Old Faithful has the "Instigator's" power, which makes it deal double damage to targets with full health. On a low damage pistol setup this isn't very powerful. But when modified into a sniper rifle it can do a ton of damage in a single shot. The added benefit of this weapon is that Laser Rifles have low recoil and a high fire rate so you can easily follow up with a few extra shots if a target survives the powerful first one.

What is FALLOUT 4?
Fallout 4 is the latest installment in the Fallout series, which has been taken over by Bethesda. Bethesda's Fallout games take serious inspiration from the Elder Scrolls series of games - huge open worlds, lots of NPCs to interact with and locations to explore. Fallout 4 is set in a post apocalyptic future where history stayed as it was in the 50s but technology took a nuclear path instead. 1950s charms mixed with hostile wastelands create a unique world for players to explore and shape.
