📝 What is a Treasury Bill?
Treasury Bills are short-term debt securities that are issued the U.S. treasury and backed by the U.S. government, which is why they are considered a low-risk investment.

Treasury Bill Options:
The maturities, which in simple terms is the lifespan of the investment, are 4,8,13,17,26, and 52 week options.

Pros:
1. Nearly no risk
2. Exempt from state and local taxes
3. Flexibile (Online brokerages/banks are great options)
4. Can be bought in small increments (even ETF nearly nothing)
5. Max limit is $10m/year

Cons:
1. TreasuryDirect has increments of $100 and online brokerages/banks is $1000
2. Treasury Bills fluctuate
3. Pay federal taxes
4. Not for long term wealth like S&P but great to diversify
5. TreasuryDirect selling is complex

3 Main Ways To Buy Treasury Bills:
1. TreasuryDirect (Government Page)
2. Banks or Brokerage Firms
3. ETFs

In this video, I show you how you can buy Treasury Bills through the primary market, secondary market, and through ETFs all on Fidelity.

After watching this video you will have a complete understanding on the different ways you can invest into Treasury Bills and get started today!

Current Conditions:
Currently treasury bills are seeing higher rates for shorter term maturities where the typical scenario would be higher rates for longer term maturities. This is because of recent interest rate hikes, where Treasury Bills for the most part, directly correlate to the interest rates.

Time to lock in these great rates!
