Lamentations 3:21-33  Jeremiah echoes the heartbeat of God.  His honesty reflects the close relationship he has with God. Life isn't just about tears it's also about a deep trust in God's faithfulness.  Traditionally this little book is the overspill of Jeremiah's heart following the devastating events that have befallen his nation.  Babylon has invaded Judah (S. Israel).  His 'lament' is on behalf of them and on behalf of himself - he's burned out.  He recalls the God he got to know as a teenager and in remembering, tears turn to trust.  Features 'Saturday' - a song I wrote that originally described the day between Good Friday and Easter Day but the words could just have been easily sung by Jeremiah.
