A new ear wax cleaner,
A new ear wax cleaner, the Bionix Ear Lavage System, is used for the first time by Dr. Mark Vaughan to irrigate impacted cerumen from a patient's ears. It seems to be better at ear wax removal compared to other systems that we have used. It is fast, safe, comfortable, and easy to clean. The tips placed in the patient's ears are disposable.
We use about 10 to 10 ml of hydrogen peroxide in the 205 ml reservoir and top it off with warm water for each fill.
The lighted curettes were also provided by Bionix for use in this video.
