For travelers in-the-know, Uzbekistan is nothing new, but for the general public it's just about to take off. We were absolutely blown away by the history, architecture, and culture we discovered on our 7 days in this Central Asian country.

We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to drop out of university and live life full-time. We started our trip in Tashkent, took the Afrosiyob train to Samarkand, and continued on an old Soviet-era train to Bukhara. We then flew back on Uzbekistan Airways to Tashkent. All in all, we spent a week traveling along the ancient Silk Road in Uzbekistan and can't wait to return to see Khiva, the Aral Sea, Fergana Valley and more in the future.
