Profoto has just released a brand new modifier, the Profoto Soft Zoom Reflector 120! For gear nerds like me who have it all, it is time to check out a brand new 4ft light modifier in the Profoto lineup.

In this video, I take you step-by-step through the process of setting it up, adjusting the rod, and creating a striking one-light fashion image.

The magic of this modifier is that it allows you to achieve both soft and hard light by varying the position of the central rod. The closer it is inside the modifier, the harder the light. The more extended the rod (with the light further away from the base), the harder the light. We use this single light and versatile modifier to create striking black-and-white fashion images!
