«You must see this gorgeous hotel when you are there!» our friend advised us when he heard we were going to Phnom Penh. We are glad we did. The hotel first opened in 1929, during the French Protectorate Of Cambodia, and has been a part of Phnom Penh history ever since. As we walk through the beautiful hallways we get to dip into the feeling of French colonial past and Khmer culture. It enriched the travel experience for all of us. As they put it themselves; Truly an oasis for the well traveled.
