In this video I am trying to share the procedure of how to make smooth and crispy Vada or Medhu vada...this is a popular South Indian breakfast dish....watch my complete video to know about the secrets of how to get smooth and crispy vadas.

INGREDIENTS
----------------------
1.Split black gram  -- 1 glass full
2.Oil  --  for frying
3.Cooked rice --  1 bowl
4.Curry leaves  --  few
5.Coriander leaves  -- few
6.Green chillies  --  2 to 3
7.Black pepper seeds  --  few
8.Black pepper powder  --  1 teaspoon
9.Coconut  -- cut into small cubes 1 teaspoon
10.Salt as per taste

METHOD
---------------
1.Soak urad dal for 4 hours

2.After that grind it well

3.Keep it in fridge for 6 to 8 hours

4.Then add curry leaves,coriander leaves,green chillies,black pepper seeds,black pepper powder ,coconut cubes and salt.

5.The batter is ready to fry

6.Shape it into vadas and fry in hot oil.

7.Smooth and crispy vadas are ready to serve.
