Enjoy this new arrangement of "Vals Venezolano" for  Clarinet Quartet and Venezuelan Cuatro.
We are very thankful to have the special collaboration of the amazing Clarinetist David Gould on the Basset Horn!!

I knew about Antonio Lauro since I heard Fredy Reyna playing his compositions on the Cuatro, an instrument typical of Venezuela and Colombia. I immediately fall in love with his music, recorded some of his wonderful Valses with the talented Chicago guitarist Fareed Haque, and composed this piece inspired and dedicated to the great Venezuelan master.

Yo supe sobre Antonio Lauro cuando escuché a Fredy Reyna tocar sus composiciones en el Cuatro, un instrumento típico de Venezuela y Colombia. Desde entonces quedé enamorado de su música, grabé algunos de sus maravillosos Valses con el talentoso guitarrista chicagoense Fareed Haque, y compuse esta pieza inspirada y dedicada al gran maestro venezolano.
