Gaijin's Awful Battle Rating Changes

It seems that whenever Gaijin try to implement some new battle rating changes to War Thunder, they always make things significantly worse overall. There are some good changes sprinkled in, but the general impression is very negative. The changes are rife with kneejerk reactions to low win rates, absolutely insane placements for both tanks and planes, and a general lack of changes the players have been asking for for a long time.
