With the widespread use of automated welders, cheap radiators are usually pretty good, and if you do find a leak, it's pretty easy to weld or braise the area to fix it. I wanted to upgrade the radiator on the Mini before heading out on track just in case, especially with the liquid to liquid oil cooler utilized on the car. The cooler I can keep the coolant; the cooler I will keep the oil. Install on this chassis is actually pretty easy. Just remove the front fascia and bumper to get great access to everything. I did this while servicing the supercharger, but without doing that, this would have taken me not much more than an hour.
Since install it has survived three track days and thousands of street miles. For $100, it's a pretty good investment.
