Fußgängerbrücke über die Motlawa (Mottlau) zwischen der Altstadt und der Speicherinsel in der Altstadt von Danzig.
Der kreuzende Schiffverkehr erfordert eine bewegliche Brücke, weil die benötigte Durchfahrtshöhe mit einer festen Brücke nicht durchführbar ist. Als Lösung der Planungsaufgabe ergab sich eine Drehbrücke, die sich sehr schön in das historische Stadtbild einfügt.

Pedestrian bridge over the Motlawa (Motlawa) River between the Old Town and Granary Island in the Old Town of Gdansk.
The crossing ship traffic requires a moveable bridge because the required headroom cannot be achieved with a fixed bridge. The solution to the planning task was a swing bridge that blends in very nicely with the historic townscape.
