This was a very popular school pudding back in the 70's and 80's this Old school | School puddings great dinner lady recipe takes you right back to school, Butterscotch tart recipe with this sweet tasty pastry and topping to match with good old squirty cream. Another favourite was the cornflake tart which I have also made a video on.

As you may notice I have a special person joining me at the end to try the treat.
Prep Time 30 mins including making pastry
Best to leave overnight to set serve with squirty cream!
Preparation time 20mins Best to leave in the fridge overnight to set! but if your children cannot wait! The Butterscotch tart will be good to go after 3.5 hours maybe be a little bit gooey!
