Lenovo has announced a new laptop computer ThinkBook 16p Gen 3, equipped with a 16-inch display and built on the AMD hardware platform. The company said the laptop "will help content creators and power users unleash their creativity."
The presented novelty boasts a 16-inch IPS display with support for a resolution of 2.5K, a brightness of 400 cd/m² and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. A more advanced option is a 500 cd/m² panel with a 165Hz refresh rate that is VESA-certified for vibrant colors and enhanced shadow detail. The display is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÜV Eyesafe 1 certified for maximum eye comfort and is equipped with an Ambient Light Sensor to automatically adjust screen and keyboard backlight brightness.
The hardware basis of the ThinkBook 16p Gen 3 is the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 6000H series processors and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics accelerator. Up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM is supported, and up to 2 TB SSD can be used for data storage. Autonomous operation is provided by a 71 Wh battery.
To connect to wireless networks, a Wi-Fi 6 adapter and Bluetooth 5.0 are provided. There are two USB Type-C interfaces, including one USB4, two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 interfaces, and an HDMI 2.1 port. The novelty has dimensions of 356.6 × 252 × 19.5 mm and weighs 1.99 kg. The ThinkBook 16p Gen 3 starts at €1999.
