Update on Tropical Storm Debby

The National Hurricane Center is continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Debby and a new area of interest in the Atlantic. The area of interest has a low chance of development over the next seven days. Forecast ensemble models bring the disturbance into the Caribbean by this coming Friday morning and near the Yucatan on Saturday. Where it eventually ends up will depend on the placement of upper-level high pressures, as it previously did with Beryl and is currently with Debby.
