The Puritan Bennett™ 980 ventilator offers an array of display screen viewing options including the menu tab. In this lesson, get an increased understanding of how to use the menu tab for setup, respiratory maneuvers, standby, screen capture, and trending. Under the respiratory mechanics screen, you can run through inspiratory pause or NIF simulations. Use the standby setting if you should need to move a patient resulting in a temporary disconnect.
