Here's one in a series
Here's one in a series of commercials from Memorex with legendary jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, demonstrating how little difference there is between her performing in person and a cassette tape (Memorex, of course) of her playing, on the effect of her voice on a piece of glass in the immediate vicinity. (Can one imagine, say, the effect a lossless digital WAV file of her singing would have on said glass?)
"Can the amplified voice of Ella Fitzgerald shatter this glass?" (Tune in tomorrow, folks. ;-) )
This aired on local Chicago TV on Sunday, October 31st 1976 during the 5:30pm to 6:30pm timeframe.
