The reason why NBC got sued that one day......
Dine in Blender. The "N" was made by 2 planes, which was duplicated for (watch the video). The text effect of the logo was done with the Simple Deform modifier. As for the halo lights, shape keys. And the sound for this logo, Audacity, by adding Pluck tracks, and adding different effects to them. A reverse version of the audio is also heard at the beginning.
