VIDEO UPDATE: I reached out to West Mountain Radio after this video was filmed, but before the video premiered.  Within SEVEN (7) minutes, I received a response from Joey at West Mountain Radio.  He initially asked if I could like to have the unit replaced, which was awesome.  I cannot thank West Mountain Radio enough, for quickly responding with a great solution.

I did however, kindly deny a replacement for multiple reasons: 1.  I knew this was purchased as a Factory Second or a Returned unit (I cannot remember which, sorry).  With that, I knew there were certain risks involved with purchasing this unit.   2.  The unit was purchased at least 2 years ago (I believe).  It is not West Mountains fault that I did not properly test and check my gear when I got it.   3.  I rather fix it myself to learn something.

With that being said, Joey suggested the reason I may be having issues adding solder is because these are copper traces, which I did not think of.   I will have a video soon, of my attempt to add solder to this unit.

I still, 100 percent think West Mountain Radio has the best customer service in amateur radio.  This is my opinion, but there are companies that won't even respond to emails.
