Probably because I officially hate this song. I had to have listened to it a few dozen times trying to understand the lyrics...and still do not have a clue if they are right. Every lyric site I checked, every subtitle release I checked, and every lyric video on YouTube had disagreeing lyrics from one another...no one can understand whether Jim Cummings is singing the word "Down" or the word "There" with a heavy southern accent for the first half of the song. Some of them definitely sound a heck of a lot more like DOWN than There especially when messing with it down to slowmo there is clearly an "N" sound on some...but yet given the song title clearly "Gonna Take You There" has to be somewhere in the lyrics right? Pfffft... So whatever I just guessed. About the only way I know to get the official final word is probably to find the official sheet music and look at...but local piano store did not have it and I am not paying $5 for it online.
