The Maiar of Middle-earth were lesser beings of the Ainur, but still quite powerful in their own right. From this group, we have beings such as Sauron, Saruman, Melian, and Gandalf, as well as many others besides. In this video, we take a look at this group of characters and its members to see how they interact within Arda and Tolkien’s works as a whole.
