A Journey With: “Yayoi Kusama: A Retrospective”

While “Yayoi Kusama: A Retrospective” begins its journey to its next home at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art opening in November 2021, the Gropius Bau presents previously-unseen content from the Kusama digital universe to shorten the wait.

On the occasion of 160 years of friendship between Germany and Japan in 2021, the Gropius Bau introduces a brand-new video series: “Walk & Talk“, revealing personal connections between celebrated Berlin-based artists, curators and writers and the Japanese artist’s works. Watch Leiko Ikemura with Diedrich Diedrichsen as they explore and discuss Kusama’s installations while walking through her extensive exhibition at the Gropius Bau.
