The birth place of Shri Mahavatar Babaji, Parangipettai in Tamil Nadu

Shri Mahavatar Babaji, the great Himalayan yogi, was born in Parangipettai, a small, coastal, sleepy village, approximately 55 kms from today's Pondicherry. Babaji known to be born in 203 AD, is one of the 18 siddhas of South India who immortalized their bodies. In the modest temple erected at the sacred spot of his birth, there is a yantra or geometrical figure which emits extra ordinary divine energies of will power or Ichcha Shakti.
