On a super rare weather window I grabbed the big pack and dropped off the grid for a couple of days in the hope of finding some summer fishing in a remote valley somewhere.
Everything came together and I found low water levels, sun shine and some stunning rainbow trout that were happy to smash big terrestrial patterns off the surface!!
At last, a small taste of summer!!
