Solar Eclipse

April 8, 2024.  A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow that blocks out the light from the sun.  Today’s solar eclipse saw 13 states across the United States and several Canadian provinces plunge into darkness as the path of the moon crosses over the sun.  It is crucial to remember that directly looking at the sun during the eclipse can cause severe and permanent damage to the eyes.
