Nutritional deficiency will definitely lead to certain changes in the bone and if it is during the formation of a tooth or during the development of the bone. A nutritional deficiency like calcium deficiency will cause some changes in the bone and the teeth anatomy sometimes. There are 2 types of malocclusions, one is genetic malocclusion and one is environmental malocclusion. So if at all there is a weakened bone, it can affect the periodontium that is the foundation of the teeth, resulting in migration of the teeth resulting in malocclusion.
