The scenery is spectacular as it winds slowly through the hills and tea plantations of Sri Lanka, and it's the amazing people you meet onboard as well.
The joy and friendliness of the Sri Lankan people shines through!
We got onboard in Haputale after paying less than $2 for a 2nd class ticket and rode the 140 kms of stunning scenery in 7 hours of pure joy.
This train ride is a serious Bucket List item that has to seen to be believed.
