PATCH UPDATE: February 14
A new patch has just arrived and this improves frametimes during regular traversal. I have tested it in Hogsmead and Hogwarts Castle and the improvements are noticeable in the frametime graph. However, stutters and fps drops are still present in Hogsmead square and during transitions to new areas all throughout the game. There is still a lot of room for performance improvements.
The patch also fixes the bugged RTX AO which now restores the correct shadow occlusions in specific environmental spots. However, this does not make SSAO obsolete as RTX AO still removes contact shadows in other areas. And as RTX still worsens the stutters and FPS drops, I still won't recommend it for now.
It's finally here guys. Our optimization guide for Hogwarts Legacy. Sorry for the delay as this title is such a challenging piece of software to optimize due to its messy performance and the plethora of graphics options that further complicate our testing. Fortunately, I have now been able to rationalize the relationship between the graphics settings and their corresponding effect to image quality and performance. I hope this guide helps you out.

GPU: Zotac 3080 Ti Trinity OC 12GB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB 3600mhz
