The rugged landscapes and collected objects that informed O’Keeffe’s vast body of work tell a story of place that continues to inspire. We’ll explore the present-day site, a breathtaking blend of architectural influences that was her personal haven for over three decades.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Home & Studio in Abiquiu, New Mexico reflects a blend of Native American and Spanish Colonial building styles, regional architectural traditions dating back centuries. A quiet sanctuary from which to draw inspiration, O’Keeffe made Abiquiú her permanent home in 1949 until 1984. Today, the home provides a special look into the life of one of America’s greatest artists and is the primary resource for those wishing to study O’Keeffe’s art and her ties to Northern New Mexico.
