In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to Tony Lewis Sr. about going to prison at 26, and Vlad told Tony that he probably didn’t realize the destruction he was doing to his community during his time in the streets. When asked about how he feels today, Tony stated that he feels “absolutely bad” about the destruction that he helped to cause, and he admitted that he didn’t realize the damage he was causing at the time. Tony added that he didn’t fully realize the scope of his mistakes until 5 to 10 years in prison, and he went on to speak about giving back to his community since his release. Tony then stated that he was also mentoring inmates in prison to help change the course of their lives. Vlad then spoke about his codefendant Rayful Edmond still being behind bars and people calling him a “rat” because of his cooperation. Tony then stated that he thinks it’s ironic that he’s free without cooperating, unlike Rayful, who told on a lot of people.
