PINK DRAGON FRUIT SORBET 🍨💖 Homemade sorbet is so easy to make at home with just a few ingredients and wayyy less sugar than store bought! Serving it in the fruit half is (obviously) optional, but if you’re able to find it fresh, why not?!

Bookmark the RECIPE:

3 cups frozen dragon fruit (aka pitaya)
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup (2 oz) honey, agave or maple syrup
2 tbsp (1 oz) freshly squeezed lime juice

If you want to serve these in dragon fruit halves, slice the dragon fruit and use a spoon to remove the fruit. Transfer to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and freeze until frozen solid (~2 hours).

Remove the frozen fruit from the freezer 15 minutes before blending. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth.

Enjoy right away for a soft serve style, or scoop into dragon fruit halves and return to the freezer until set (2-3 hours).

If you can’t find fresh dragon fruit (it’s not super common where we’re from!), you can buy @pitayafoods frozen dragon fruit at lots of stores (we usually get it at @wholefoods, but it’s available at many stores in the US!)

You can adjust the lemon and sweetener to your preference. You can also swap out strawberries for raspberries, mango, pineapple, blueberries or another fruit of choice.

Tag us if you make this super easy 4 ingredient recipe!
