Velocity based training what is it? And why do people think it is the future Olympic weightlifting and sports performance training? Velocity based training or speed training involves devices like Tendo Unit, Gymaware, and Push in order to measure bar speed when weightlifting. The idea is that the faster you move the bar and faster the reading is by the device, the more power output you have when lifting.
