Breath Hold Time is the simplest and easiest way to see how your breathing is.
Breathing Pattern Disorder (BPD):
-Biochemical CO2
-Biomechanical Upper Chest Breathing
-Psychological
You take a normal breath in through your nose, a normal breath out through your nose. Pinch your nose with your fingers and hold your breath till you feel the first definite reaction of your body to take a breath. Then let go and breathe. Your breath at the end should be normal.
That's your BOLT score:
B - Body
O - Oxygen
L - Level
T - Test
Your BOLT score measures your breathlessness.
