La Crosse makes a variety of wireless weather stations but I think model S77925 will provide everything I need to know. I like this station because it gives you a full review of the weather by using an outdoor sensor. There is an outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity indicator. The time and date is set by the WWVB atomic time clock, smart clock, for an easy self setting accurate time. The indoor comfort level tells you the humidity level in your house and gives you a reading from wet to dry. The adjustable backlight option allows you to place the monitor in a variety of settings and still have a readable, full color display monitor. The monitor can be battery powered or plugged into an outlet with battery powered backup for convenience. La Crosse Technology offers a nice gift to someone interested in a weather hobby or it would make a nice gift for students in STEM weather classes.
