▷ Hi. So, if you’re familiar with my channel, you probably noticed that for the first time in a long time, I’ve watermarked a video. The truth is, I am so beyond sick and tired of my videos being stolen. This week, I’ve found THREE of my videos stolen and it’s pissing me off. I don’t like watermarking my creations because I find them distracting but tbh, I’m done caring about that. It’s so heartbreaking to see my work being posed as someone else. I completely shift my sleep schedule to make these videos, working on them from 1 am to 7 am. I do this because I love doing it, but if you’re someone who steals works like this, just know that you are the reasons creators stop creating. learn to make your own, learn to have some creativity. If you’ve stolen a video, odds are that you have NO clue how much hard work goes into it. it takes days, even weeks to finish a video, along with $400 editing equipment and several gigabytes of storage taken up from saving clips and episodes to provide YOU with content. Its hard fucking work. just to have it stolen? I’m not going to stop making videos, I’m just gonna make it a hell of a lot harder for you to take them. So, keep doing it. I swear to god I will throw the watermark directly in the center. If you want the logoless clips to download and make your own, all you have to do is ask. but if you take my creations or someone else’s, you’re garbage. So, here’s a little note to those who steal my stuff. I always find out about it. There is no hiding it. I have people in my corner who tell me when the video is stolen not 6 seconds after you upload it. I work in several different fandoms, all of which would be glad to report your accounts and posts that don’t belong to you. I’ve done it before, I’ll do it again. What I’m trying to say is that if you take my art, I will make your life a living hell. I promise. Just in case you don’t know this, even if I use copyright content, I still own the video once I’ve made it. I own the creation itself. Another fun fact, youtube alerts me if it finds a video that is a direct copy of my own. Did you know that? Fun part about that is that I can have your video taken down and maybe even a copyright strike. It doesn’t matter if you block me (which, by the way, I have 5 accounts on pretty much every social platform so have fun trying to hide it from me) I will still manage to come for you, and your content which you’ve built off of my hard work. Like I said, I own the video once I’ve changed it from its original form. You taking my video and claiming It as your own? That’s theft :) and I am not one OUNCE bit afraid to make it known. I will track your account down, whether its twitter, instagram, youtube, tumblr, you name it, and I will not stop until my creations are off your page and your page is down. So, take the risk. Mess with me and my work, I fight back really really dirty.
with that being said, if you’re a kind person who doesn’t steal videos, please alert the original owners if you suspect a video is stolen.
