Alligation Method for Questions With a Diluent or a Pure Compound video illustrates how to alter product strength using the alligation method when one of the components being mixed is either a diluent or a pure compound.

This tutorial starts with a brief review of how the alligation method works when you have the concentrations of the higher strength, desired strength and lower strength given explicitly in the question. It then covers how to use the alligation method when one of the components is a diluent using two strategically selected examples. The video also show how to use the alligation method when one of the components is a pure compound using two examples.
